A state of the art, CNC lathe rotationally machines the drag surface of the stainless steel plates to extremely accurate, exacting dimensions. Together with Penn’s proven HT-100‘ drag material these precision machined stainless steel plates offer consistent drag pressure surfaces. When you push the drag lever from just off free spool, up through strike and on to full drag setting, settings increase gradually and consistently.
