The Plueger Medalist is a great reel for both
fresh or saltwater. The
9 stainless ball bearings, make the Medalist a very smooth
reel . The reel comes in a variety of sizes to fit the needs of almost any
angler. The smaller reels would be great for freshwater fishing, or light
saltwater pursuits. The large models such as the 6070 have a
high gear ratio, and power handle that would be perfect for
deep jigging or flat lining
behind the boat.
