The 6-1/2 foot through 7-1/2-foot models are fitted with a soft, compressed cork butt end for better comfort when fighting fish with the rod butt against your waist or mid-section, while the 8-foot model features a rubber gimbal that securely fits into a rod holder or a fighting belt for additional support.
