The PENN® Ally II ALLYBWII5080C60RS Roller Stripper/Tip Conventional Boat Rods have the power and durability you need for offshore saltwater fishing. The rod is crafted from an incredibly tough, tubular E-glass rod blank with a solid glass tip, able to withstand the strain of big, hard fighting fish. The blank is outfitted combination of Seaguide® Stainless Steel guides with zirconium inserts, and a PacBay® machined aluminum roller guide and tip. Both rollers maintain a large knot clearance and are placed in key, high-stress areas, to extend the life of your line by reducing friction. The PacBay® Roller Guides utilize a durable, one piece frame that is machine from solid marine grade aluminum. The aluminum rollers come standard with Teflon coated stainless steel bearings and aluminum side plates, increasing the guide strength.

The Ally II All Roller Rod features an EVA and Slick Butt handle, sporting the Seaguide® HBS Heavy Duty Aluminum Reel Seat and PENN® Aluminum Gimbal to keep your rod butt planted during prolonged battles. The Seaguide® HBS reel Seat is precision machined from marine grade aluminum with a ribbed internal diameter to increase bonding strength and creating a high-strength profiled body. Dual locking nuts with Delran spacer keeps your reel firmly secured to your rod. Altogether, the PENN® Ally II All Roller Stripper/Tip Rods provide the correct balance and application for your future offshore adventures.
