Knott Galvanized EZ-Loader Trailer 5 Lug Wheel Hub Kit Sealed Bearings.

This Knott Hub is a sealed waterproof unit and is sold as a complete assembly only. Hub Kit comes with lug nuts, dust cap, O-Ring, flanged nut, with bearing and grease seal installed. If the Cap is removed, it also is recommended to replace. Hub uses a 4.5" Lug pattern with 5 lugs. Bearings have a 33mm (1.33") opening.

Note: The Knott Hub is a sealed unit and non-serviceable. If the hub is removed/replaced, the Spindle Nut (included in kit) must be replaced and torqued to 206 lb./ft.

When installing the LUG NUTS, torque to 63 lb./ft maximum.

Fits EZ Loader Boat Trailers Model Year: 2010-Current 900-1250# Capacity Trailers. Also fits many other lower capacity boat trailers with an Autoflex Knott Axle, like Magic Tilt.

EZ-LOADER - KNOTT TRAILER wheel hub has a seal bearing unit inside and will only work with AutoFlex-Knott axles commonly found on light duty EZ-LOADER and Magic Tilt trailers. 5-Lug unit with a 4.5" Bolt pattern and a 1.33" (33mm) opening. Hub comes with lug nuts, dust cap, O-ring, flange nut, and grease seal.

When installing hub, it is very important to note that the flange nut used to secure hub can only be used once and it must be tightened to exactly 207 lb.-ft.

This is a complete galvanized 1,500 lb. 5 lug hub kit made by Knott, featuring their unique sealed bearing design to keep the spindle and hub properly lubricated and rolling smoothly.

This type of hub is usually seen on jet ski trailers and small boat trailers and is commonly seen used on trailers manufactured by Karavan (part no. 200-00036-SP2), Magic Tilt (part no. PD2750), and EZ Loader (part no. 250-033290). This hub is designed ONLY to work with the 1,500 lb light duty axle by Knott that is specially designed for this hub, it will not work with axles from other manufacturers like Dexter, Lippert, or others.

The kit features the sealed and lubricated 5 lug hub, 5 lug nuts, a dust cap and O-ring, and a specially designed crush style spindle nut. The "one shot" spindle nut is made to be used only once; it is crucial to securely tighten this spindle nut to 280 nm (~207 ft/lbs) to secure the hub in place, and to use a new nut whenever you remove the old one.

The 5-lug hub does have a standard 5 on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern, so it will be compatible with most types of trailer wheels. The sealed cartridge style ball bearing assembly has a 34 mm (~1.34") inner diameter and a 64 mm (~2.52") outer diameter and is preinstalled into the hub along with the hub's seal (~1.68" inner diameter).

If you have a small boat trailer or PWC trailer that uses a a Knott 1,500 lb. axle that uses compact sealed bearings (like the Knott 6A9936.001 or 6A9936.002), then this corrosion resistant galvanized 5 lug hub might be just what you need!
