The Classic Mustad Wide Gap hook features a slightly reversed hook point that helps keep bait and fish secure after hookset. It is designed for fast penetration being hollowed or rounded out between the tip of the barb and the tip of the point. The outer side of the point is straight. Much like a circle hook, this hook will almost lock itself in the jaw. Perfect for baiting Crawdads, shrimps, worms, yabbies or shiners. The MTL-V1 point combines a more efficient point design with a new sharpening process to enhance the quality.
