The Quantum® Exceed™ spinning reel establishes a new standard in saltwater durability and performance. As the first spinning reel to integrate Cerakote® coating on the body and side plate, the reel offers superior corrosion resistance.
Engineered with the advanced SEALOQ™ 8 design, the Exceed meets rigorous IPX8 waterproof standards. This represents our highest level of sealing, meticulously preventing water intrusion into the drag system and gearbox, even under full submersion. A significant advancement is its IPX8 rated line roller, which effectively protects the bearing from water, salt, and sand. The CFX200™ carbon fiber drag system provides best-in-class maximum drag pressure with a consistent, uniform drag curve and the GEARTEQ™ machined gearing ensures extreme cranking power and extended durability, all while maintaining a smooth gear feel.
 The CASTTEQ slow oscillation on 2500-5000 sizes optimizes line management, resulting in longer casts and reduced wind knots. The Exceed features a carbon rotor on all sizes, including the 6000 and 8000 models. To top it off, the Exceed reels will come with a newly designed carbon handle knob, perfect for both bait and lure anglers. These advancements guarantee the Exceed's unwavering performance through every challenge.
