SpoolTek Pro Series 9'' Stretch with 12'' Leader

The SpoolTek Pro Series 9in Stretch was designed with a long, thin profile to emulate ladyfish, ballyhoo, silver mullet, rainbow trout, lizard fish, river herring, tinker mackerel, Spanish sardines, sand eels, blueback herring, sugar trout and others. The Pro Series 9in Stretch descends through the water column almost horizontally. The SpoolTek Stretch has a slow body wobble and loose, seductive tail waggle when retrieved. Eyelet placement prevents snags when worked near the bottom. The lure?s most unique feature is the internal spool containing a 12? 80lb steel leader that will separate from the lure when a fish strikes. This allows anglers to use lighter leaders attached to the eyelet of the lure, thus enhancing the action while preventing breakoffs due to the internal leader. It is also important to note that the hooked up fish will be unable to use the weight of the lure for leverage to throw the hook. The 9in Stretch has proven itself extremely effective using a variety of techniques throughout the entire water column.

The Stretch™ 9” SK version is a hard bodied swimbait with a replaceable soft tail, available in Sinking (SK). It features a stainless steel concealed leader. It is perfect for long casts and can be fished with a steady retrieve, jigged or with erratic slash movements. The concealed leader allows the use of the lighter leader for stealthier presentation and better lure action. Once the hook is set it pulls away from the lure, providing superior abrasion resistance and dramatically reduces fish loss due to shake off.

To reset deployed leader: 1. While holding tension on the leader, wind it back into the lure body. 2. Firmly set the hook in place.

To replace SofTough™ tails: 1. With the hook loose, press upward on the bottom of the tail to slide out. 2. If stuck, press a tool up the hole to dislodge.
