Making its way into the newest generation of Tatula SV is Daiwa's Hyper Drive Design concept. Hyper Drive Design takes a four-pronged approach that includes redesigned gearing for a smoother and more efficient transfer of power, along with enhanced support features to resist torque and preserve internal alignment.

Through the integration of their exclusive SV Spool and Airbrake technologies into their small, pleasantly portable 100-size Tatula frame, Daiwa has enabled fishermen to experience stress-free casting like never before. Together, these two functions reduce backlashes and enable the reel to have exceptional castability through the use of both centrifugal and magnetic braking technologies.
