Betts Morada Cast Net - 12' 1" Mesh

Built from a legendary design by famous cast net maker "Frank The Net" out of the Florida Keys, the Betts Morada Cast Nets are among the finest available. Featuring a unique six panel design with an extra 6" of net material sewn into each panel, the Morada Cast Nets are able to achieve an extra 8-12" of spread when compared to other cast nets of the same size. Morada Nets are constructed from a premium grade monofilament that provides the perfect balance of strength to haul in heavy loads and suppleness for easy handling and throwing. This net material is sewn with three rows of dual color double selvage around both the horn and lead line for extra reinforcement at key stress points.

Featuring only the highest quality components, these nets utilize a tightly woven lead line that is colored to blend in with the water. The horn is made to precise sizing that prevents the loss of bait and allows for easy movement of braille lines for a wide spread and quick closing. Lead weights are fixed along the net's perimeter at exact measurements to ensure a uniform sink rate and proper opening and closing of the net. Elongated weights are used for nets with wider mesh sizes (5/8in, 1in) to prevent tangles. Braille lines are tied at 25" intervals and divided with tubing for easy deployment and fewer tangles.
