Daiwa Certate SW Spinning Reel

Setting a new standard for spinning reel performance in its class, the Daiwa 2024 Certate SW Spinning Reels continue the series' tradition of improving upon lightweight yet rugged spinning reel design. The 24 Certate SW shares its Monocoque body with the top-of-the-line Saltiga. The one-piece body eliminates the need for a conventional side plate and screw system by using an engine plate to hold the large g1 duralumin drive gear, which is also used in the Saltiga. This particular body and gear combination catapulted Saltiga to fame and is guaranteed to establish Certate SW as a leader in terms of strength and power.

The newest generation of Certate SW is exceptionally rigid and lightweight thanks to its Zaion rotor design. Zaion's feather-light design allows for extremely easy and highly responsive rotation of the reels bail and rotor. The Certate SW features a Magseal line roller and body, along with MQ construction, to ensure exceptional protection against the elements and providing anglers with the assurance that the reel will not fail them for many season to come. Certate SW's multi-layer carbon drag provides a 10x boost in drag durability. The improved washer design with the aluminum drag knob enhances heat dissipation, leading to better drag performance when handling heavy loads.
